Diagnostic Significance of Free Fatty Acid, Lipase and beta-Glucuronidase in Breast Milk Jaunce.

Free fatty acids, lipase activy and β-glucuronidase activity were measured in samples of breast milk collected from mothers of infants with and without breast milk jaundice. The free fatty acids, lipase and β-glucuronidase values in the breast milk from mothers with jaundiced infants were 7.5 ±6.5 mM/L, 5.3 ±3.2 mM/min/ml and 14.6 ±9.6 nM/min/ml respectively.
