Clinical observation was performed on 653 cases of neonates who were admitted in nursery, N
ational Medical Center from January 1984 to December 1985.
The results were as following;
1) Five hundred and seventy.eight newborns were admitted to nursery among -2102 Iive birth
delivered at National Medical Center during the study period. The admission rate was 27.5%.
