Abstract |
Conjoined twin is a rare anomaly with an incidence estimated at 1 in 50,000 deliveries and has
extremely variable internal anomalies depending on the extent of the united area.
We observed a case of male conjoined twin joined by thorax and abdomen who has 3 upper & 2
lower extremities. After birth, the twin revealed severe respiratory difficulties and died at 16th day
of life. Then autopsy was done.
The review of related literature was made briefly. |
