Abstract |
This study is a report of two cases of vascular ring that were experienced at Yonsei University in 1983 and 1985.
The first case was a one-month-old female patient with a double aortic arch and PDA.
The main pulmonary artery was connected to the anterior arch by PDA. The anterior arch was larger in diameter than the posterior arch and the descending aorta was located on the left side.
The second case was 33-month-old male patient with a right aortic arch and Lt. ligamentum arteriosum.
The left subclavian artery originating from the diverticulum was located at the proximal portion of the descending aorta. The descending aorta was located on the right side and no intracardiac anomalies were present.
The postoperative state was satisfactory in both cases.
