The authors experienced a case of congenital choledochal cyst in a 2 years and 10 months old Korean female with the complaints of abdominal distention, abdominal pain, vomiting and a fist sized tumor mass of the abdomen in the right upper quadrant, which was progressively aggravated since 15 days prior to admission. The diagnosis was confirmed by physical examination, clinical symptoms and signs, radiological evidence of displacement of the upper gastrointestinal tract and surgical finding. She was operated with good result and discharged in fine condition 14 days later. A brief review of literature was attempted.
