Abstract |
This paper presents a four-year-and.nine-month old boy, who died of Cryptococcal meningitis. The Indian-ink preparation showed typical budding cells in his spinal fluid (Fig. 1), and the innoculation into a mouse of the patient’s cultured spinal fluid demonstrated the Cryptococcosis in all of the visceral organs, such as heart, brain, meninges, lungs, kidney and lymphnodes (Fig. 2,3). Authors discussed the diagnostic problems involved in this and Tuberculous meningitis, and also reviewed literatures. |
