Median cleft face syndrome is diagnosed by two or more of the following anomalies : ocular hypertelorism, cranium bifidum occultum, median cleft nose, median cleft lip and median cleft premaxilla. The most consistent and prominent ocular finding associated with this syndrome is hypertelorism.
