Purpose : Although many children born with intrauterine growth retardation demonstrate significant catch-up growth in early childhood, substantial weight and height deficits remain in others. In addition, children with IUGR may demonstrate developmental deficits. The aims of this study are to evaluate the health status, growth and deveolpmental outcome of intrauterine growth retarded infants.
