| Abstract |
|
The authors experienced a case of ulcerative colitis in a 15 year old girl. She was admitted to our department because of recurrent bloody mucous diarrhea, lower abdominal cramps and anorexia for 3 year.
The diagnosis was established by clinical feature, radiological, endoscopic and histologic findings. The patient had an initial improvement after taking combined medication as sulfasalzine and prednisolone, followed by recurrent exacerbation for 3 year.
A brief review of the related literature is given. |
