| Abstract |
|
A case of dermatomyositis in an eleven year old girl with typical picture of violaceous eyelid
lesion, together with dermato-skeletal manifestation and febrile episode is presented with a brief
review of literature. While in exacerbations with multiple episodes of hospitalization, she developed
a stormy course of severe hepatic involvement with impending hepatic coma, however, responded
to prednisolone treatment, now being in remission for over 2 1/2 years.
