The clinical picture of beingn recurrent intrahepatic cholestasis (BRIC) consists of multiple epi- sodes of cholestatic jaundice without extrahepatic bile duct obstruction. Since first description by Summerskill and Walshe in 1959, almost 100 patients with BRIC have been described.
