A Case of Mushroom Poisoning

A case with poisoning of Amanita phalloides is presented. The patient, six-year-old, boy complained of severe abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhea .14 hours after eating mushrooms. Abdominal distension and anuria followed, and he became progressively comatose and icteric. He expired 4days after the ingestion of the poison. Three older siblings who ate the same mushrooms suffered from similar, but milder symptoms...
