Clin Exp Pediatr. 1968;11(6):303-306.   Published online June 30, 1968
1.Changes in the levels of the glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (G. O. T.) in cerebrospinal fluid have been determined in encephalitis patients before and after the administration of hydrocortisone or prednisolone. 2. Increased levels of G.O.T. activity in cerebrospinal fluid of comatous encephalitis patients decreased in the recovery stages after the administration of hydrocortisone, whereas the encephalitis without administration of steroid hormone...
Studies on Glutamic Oxaloacetic Transaminase and Lactic Dehydrogenase Levels in Cerebrospinal Fluids of Pediatric Patients
Jung-Hi Oh
Clin Exp Pediatr. 1965;8(5):30-34.   Published online November 30, 1965
Variations in the levels of the glutamic oxalacetic transaminase (G.O.T.) and lactic dehydrogenase (L.D.H.) in cerebrospinal fluid (C.S.F.) were investigated in pediatric diseases involving central nervous system. Normal values of the 10 cases for G.O.T. and 14 cases for L.D.H. were found to be almost similar to those reported by other authors. In tuberculous meningitis, encephalitis and purulent meningitis, marked...
