Abstract |
We experienced a case of Leigh's disease (subacute necrotizing encephalomyelopathy) in a 3-year old boy who was presented with hypertension and showed progressive respiratory arrest after giving chloral hydrate or ketamine. Almost all diagnostic tests including brain CT showed normal findings. The diagnosis could be made by MRI and TFCA (Transfemoral carotid angiography). A review of literature was also made briefly. |
