A hermaphrodite in an individual in whom both testicular and ovarian tissues are present. A 15-year old boy presented with breast development and hypospadias. On physical examination, his height, weight, and arm span were normal. He had stage 4 breast development and normal pubic (stage 4) and axillary hair. He also had hypospadias in spite of corrective surgery 2 times. And his karyotype was 46,XX. He presented serum testosterone level of normal male adult and serum estradiol level of normal female adult.
