For about 2 months from September 10 th to November 15th, 1970, the bacteriological cultures in
48 cases of omphalitis of the newborn infants in Pusan National University Hospital, Pediatric
department of the II-sin Hospital, and Pusan Children Charity Hospital were carried out. The results
