Incontinentia pigmenti (Bloch-Sulzberger syndrome)is a genetic disease of the skin with generalized ectodermal and mesodermal dysplasia. Skin lesions are uually present at birth or shortly after in the form of eythermatous eruptions with linear vesiculations. The simple definition of arthrogryposis is "a syndrome of persistent joint contractures present at birth" We have experienced a 4 days-old male baby who had multiple joint contractures with muslce atrophy. Diagnosis was arthrogryposis multiplex congenita and made by clinical finding. A brief review of the literature was made.
