A Comparison of Gastric Cultures and Chest X-Ray Findings in Pulmonary Tuberculosis of Children

A study on 575 pulmonary tuberculosis patients under the ages of 14 years who had been diagnosed as such was made at Mokpo Children,s Tuberculosis Hospital, 1962 to 65. Urinary Alkaline Phosphatase Activities in Premature Infants, Newborn Infants, Children and Adults

The activities of urinary alkaline phosphatase were determined in 10 premature infants, 25 newborn infants, 10 children and 10 adults. The following results were obtained. 1)The urinary alkaline phosphatase activity is 1.09 +0.34 units% in premature infants, 0.50+0.13 units% in newborn infants, 0.31+0.14 units% in children and 0.21 土0.12 units% in adults. 2)The activity in premature infants is much higher than others.
