Hemagglutination-inhibiting antibody (H-I antibody) titers of Japanese B encephalitis were measured by the method of Clarke and Casals, with sera of 12 healthy mothers and 17 normal newborn infants who were admitted to Kyungpook University Hospital during period from May through November of 1971.
