For exploitation of new antidiarrheal agents to heat-labile enterotoxin (LT) produced by enterotox- igenic E. coli, we have tested several drugs by rabbit ileal loop assay and obtained some significant results. L-glutathione (20 mg), P-chloromercuriphenyl sulfonic acid (20 mg) and water heating extract of Prunus mume (20 mg) reduced LT-mediated intestinal fluid secretion in rabbit ileal loop assay by 92%, 87%, 92% respectively. This study was performed to evaluate the changes of measles specific IgG antibody titer using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) on the sera of various groups of age. We obtained the following result: 1) Out of 118cases, 99cases (83.9%) were vaccinated children and 19cases (16.1%) were unvac- cinated children.
