The clinical and hematological examination were performed on 21 ITP in childhood at the
Department of Pediatrics of N.M.C. during the period of 1958 to Aug. 1972. RESULTS
1. The highest incidence was noted aged 4 to 8 years and there was no significant sex predominance.
2. Among the 297cases representing purpura of various causes, ITP was 21 cases(7%).
