A Clinical Study of Neonatal Convulsion.

We observed 62 cases of neonatal convulsion who were admitted to the department of Pediatrics, Ewha Womans University Hospital during the 6 1/2 year period from January, 1976 to June, 1982. The following results were obtained, 1. The etiology of neonatal convulsion were, hypoxic brain damage (38.7%), hypocalcemia (14. 5%), infection(12.9%), hyponatremia(6.5%) hypoglycemia(3.2%), hypernatremia(1.6%)and unknown(22.6%). 2.
