Cardiac catheterization, cineangiography and surgical analysis of 220 cases of congenital heart
disease diagnosed by 2-D echocardiography was made, retrospectively from mar. 1985 to sep.
1989, who were admitted to the department of pediatrics Kosin Medical College Hospital.
The results were analysed as follows;
1) 22 cases of 23 were correctly diagnosed in ASD, sensitivity and specificity of subxiphoid 2-D
echocardiogram were 95.7% and 99.6% respectively.
