Incidence and Risk Factors of Periventricular and Intraventricular Hemorrhage in Low Birth Weight Infants.

Real time ultrasound scans were performed on 54 low-birth weight infants within the 7th 'birth day. Fifty infants were inborn. The incidence of periventricular and intraventricular hemorrhage (PV-IVH) was 38.9%.
