The authers experienced a case of hydronephrosis due to periappendiceal abscess confirmed by eyploratory laparatomy. Follow up IVP oi POD 杯29 showed normal pelvocalyceal pattern. A brief review of the literatures pertinent of this subject was done.

Cerebrospinal fluid lactate level and C-reactive protein(CRP) reactions were studied in 131 children who were hospitalized to the Department of Pediatrics, Hanyang University Hospital between February 1983 and August 1983. The authors experienced a case of familial Treacher-Collins syndrome in 24 years old mother and 2 months old male baby confirmed by typical facial appearance such as antimongoloid slant, coloboma, macrostomia and micrognathia and X-ray findings. We reviewed the literatures briefly.

Congenital hypothyroidism can be caused by ectopic thyroid which classified as aberrant type and accesory type.
