A case of Duchenne type of progressive Muscular dystrophy has been experienced in a 8 year old boy. The clinical symptomes were sarted before 6 years old of age and progressed insidiously. The creatine and creatinine ratio was remarkably increased and high titer of SGOT noted. The muscle biopsy findings showed typical, advanced histological changes.

This paper presents a case of spontaneous pneumothorax with pneumomediastinum in a one day old Korean male newborn infant. Spontaneous pneumothorax and pneumomediastinum are rare diseases and manifested respiratory distress symptoms and unusual activities, that can be relieved temporarily with oxygen inhalation.
