Yersinia pseudotuberculosis infection is one of the common causes of erythema nodosum in Europe, but in Korea only 2 cases have been reported. Recently authors experienced a 6 year old boy who suffered from erythematous painful skin lesions on the shin and calf, and was diagnosed serologically as erythema nodosum due to Yersinia pseudotuberculosis infection.
