A clinical analysis was carried out on 83 cases of upper gastrointestinal diseases, diagnosed by
fiberoptic endoscopic examination in children, who had visited the department of pediatrics,
Keimyung University, Dong San Hospital from January 1980 to June 1987.
Following results were obtained:
Out of 83 cases, 61 (73.5%) were between 11-15 years of age and the male to female ratio was 3.
