A Case of Iron Deficiency Anemia with Hypoproteinemia.

Severe iron deficiency anemia is occasionally accompanied by hypoproteinemia and edema. There is evidence that the hypoproteinemia is caused by increased intestinal loss of serum protein. We experienced a case, 1 year and 6 months old female patient with generalized edema, diagnosed as iron deficiency anemia with hypoproteinemia.
