Clinical Observation on Hypertension in Hospitalized Children.

A retrospective study of 234 children with hypertension was done. Those children were selected from the admitted patients to the pediatric ward of SNUH, from Jan. 1 st, 1972 to June 30 th, 1984. Among them, 144(61.5%) exhibited renal diseases, 17(7.3%) endocrine diseases, 15(6.4%) renovascular diseases, 12(5.1%) cardiovascular diseases, 3(1.3%) esstential hypertension, 8(3.5%) miscellaneous casuses.
