Congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation is a rare variant of pulmonary cystic disease char- acterized by a mass of cysts lined by proliferating bronchial or cuboidal epithelium. The onset of symptoms, which are cyanosis, and tachypnea, usually occurs during the first week of life.
