A Clinical Observation of Tetanus Neonatorum

Total 41 cases of the neonatal tetanus were clinicaly evaluated, who were admitted to the Dept, of Pediatrics, Maryknoll Hospital in Busan, Korea during the 5 year and 4 months period from May 1966 to Sept. 1971. Two neonates, a 30-day-old male and a 10-day-old female, presented with Ritter’s disease due to staphylococcus aureus. Survey of literature was briefly carried out.
