The intracellular pH was determined from the cardiac muscles in rabbits from 12 normal, 12 acute metabolic acidosis and 9 acute metabolic alkalosis, using 5, 5~dimethyl-2, 4-oxazolidinedione (DMO) method. A case of infantile cortical hyperostosis is reported. The patient was 2 months old female who complained of mild fever and irritability, especially when changed her diaper. X-Ray showed marked periosteal elevation on the mandible, upper and lower extremities. Other laboratory tests were almost within normal limit. A brief review of literatures was made.

A cases hydrometrocolpos associated with an imperforated anus, malrotation of the intestine and small' bowel obstruction due io annular fibrotic band in a newborn is presented. The patient had complaints of dyspnea, marked abdominal distention, edema around vaginal outlet and both legs. The diagnosis was confirmed by physical findings, vaginogram and exploratory laparatomy. The review of literature was made briefly.

A case of monochorial twins with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome was presented.
