In pediatric age, most prevalent causative organism of empyema with pneumatocele is Stapylococcus, but recently we experienced a case of E. coli empyema with pneumatocele in 9 month old boy, who had history of sudden dyspnea with high fever, cyanosis and diarrhea. He was treated successfully with Gentamycin and closed surgical chest drainage. We report this case with brief review of literature.

Authours have observed 3 cases of Friedreich’s ataxia: one is sporadic case and others are siblings. They were admitted with chief complaint of progressive ataxia. A brief review of literature was made.

A Case of Takayasu’s Arteritis with Nephrotic Syndrome

A case of Takayasu’s arteritis with nephrotic syndrome is reported. A 6-year-old girl showed a marked hypertension with clinical manifestations of nephrotic syndrome. Aortography showed stenosis of abdominal aorta, right subclavian artery and right renal artery. A review of the literature was made.
