Outbreak of Non-typhoidal Salmonellosis in neonates

During the period from Jun. 24, 1991 to Aug. 31, 1991, we experienced 6 cases of non-typhoidal salmonella and 18 cases with symptoms suggesting salmonellosis. The results obtained were as follows; 1) Mean age on admission was 9¡¾6 days and mean body weight was 3.3¡¾0.3kg.
