A Study on Hemoglobin, Body Weight, and Height of Vegetarian School Clildren

The hemoglobin, body weight and height were studied on 504 of Seventh-day Adventist School children comparing between vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Though average of hemoglobin of vegetarian children was higher than that of non-vegetarian children, but the statistical analysis revealed no significant difference. And the comparison of body weight and height revealed no significant difference between two groups.

A Case of solitary simple liver cyst in a 6 year old Korean girl has been reported. This cyst originated at left lobe of the liver and was successfully resected. As far as we know, this is the first reported case in Korea.
