A Case of Stevens-Johnson Syndrome Associated Use of Sulfa Drug

A severe case of Stevens-Johnson syndrome was reported in a 6 year old boy receiving sulfa drug for a period of 5 days for treatment of URI, with extensive involvement of the skin, eye, and mucouse membrane of the mouth, pharynx, nose, anus and genitourinary tract. Despite widespread and serious involvement of the eye and mouth, the patient recovered without any residual impairment.
A Case of Herditary Spherocytosis

A case of hereditary spherocytosis in a 8 year old girl and her brief family history were presented. Diagnosis was based on spherocytes in peripheral blood smears, increased osmotic fragility, hemolytic anemia and splenomegaly. Marked clinical improvement was observed by splenectomy. A Case of Diffuse Scleroderma

A case diffuse scleroderma, a rare collagen disease in childhood, is presented in 2 years and 7 months old Korean female. Physical examination showed hard skin of face, neck, upper trunk and both upper forearms. The diagnosis was confirmed by clinical findings and biopsy. The review of literature was made briefly.
