Zinc and Copper Contents in Infant Formula.

Bartter’s syndrome is rare disease which is characterized by hypokalemia, hypochloremic meta- bolic alkalosis, hyperreninemic hyperaldosteronism, hyporesponsiveness to pressors, and juxtag- lomeurlar apparatus hyperplasia. We had experienced a case of Bartter’s syndrome in 4 months old male infant. The diagnosis was made by clinical, biochemical and pathological studies. Literatures were reviewed briefly.
2 Cases of Infantile Spasms(Cryptogenic Type) Treated with ACTH Therapy.

We have experienced 2 cases of infantile spasms treated with ACTH. They were diagnosed as cryptogenic type within relatively short duration after the onset. With the administration of ACTH, flexor spasms and hypsarrhythmia disappeared. They did not demonstrate any intellectual impair- ment on OPD follow up study. A brief review of literatures was made.

A case of dermatomyositis in a 8-year-old girl is reported. She was admitted with chief complaint of progressive weakness of four extremities. The dignosis was made by typical clinical findings with aid of laboratory data and muscle biopsy finding. Her clinical symptoms and laboratory findings were improved markedly with oral steroid medication and physiotherapy. A brief review of related literatures has been done.
