J Korean Pediatr Soc. 1991;34(8):1045-1056.   Published online August 31, 1991
A total of 293 human fetal kidneys, including those of 42 embryos are studied for the elucidation of temporal development of the kidney. These specimens were interpreted as normal by thorough postmortem examinations. The age of the specimens was determined by developmental horizon criteria in embryos and by correlating crown-rump length in fetuses. Embryos were embedded in toto, cut in various planes and reconstructed...

This organ matures earlier than the other organs, and the informations about its prenatal development are essential to understand the maturation of human immunity. To delineate the weight and morphologic development of prenatal thymus, the authors measured the weight of 221, and observed gross and histologic features of...

We obtained the following result: 1) Out of 118cases, 99cases (83.9%) were vaccinated children and 19cases (16.1%) were unvac- cinated children. Among them, the number of cases who had been infected with measles were 17 cases (17.2%) in...

The results obtained were as followed. 1) Among 24 total cases, the number of cases showing positive reaction to HDPA and to cold agglutination test were 17 and...
Clinical effects of recombinant Korean growth hormone (LBD-003).
Duk Hi Kim
J Korean Pediatr Soc. 1991;34(8):1110-1115.   Published online August 31, 1991
LBD-003, methionyl GH, has been produced recently in the yeast by the use of recombinant method. The clinical efficacy and immunogenecity of LBD-003 were studied in 20 patients with naive GH deficiency. The subjects of this study were aged 5.1—13.9 years and received GH 1.5IU/kg thrice weekly for 1 year. During treatment, height, body weight & bone age were checked. Blood count, chemistry amd thyroid...
